Cadet Community Involvement

Candle Light Vigil at the Aurora Cemetary

140 Aurora Squadron Air Cadets participate in a variety of community events. Every year they march in Aurora parades, and take part in the Cadets Caring for Canada event - which includes both the cleaning of Highway 404 and the Yellow Fish Road Campaign. The purpose of the Yellow Fish Road Campaign is to educate residents of the Town of Aurora about water pollution and the impact it has on the health of the local waterbody.

This year they assisted with the Terry Fox Run, the Bob Harwell Challenge, the Magna Hoedown and the Aurora Civic Appreciation Awards night. Cadets also helped out with the Candlelight Vigil at the Aurora Cemetery.
