Cadet Scholarships

The national Cadets organization offers a number of scholarship courses to eligible cadets. All courses are limited in enrolment and candidates go through a comprehensive selection process. Those accepted to these courses justifiably represent the 'best of the best' of the Air Cadets.

Scholarship Preparation

Cadets are encouraged to prepare for these scholarships by taking as many cadet training summer courses of interest as possible. An example progression might be:

  • Year 1 - Attend a Basic two-week summer camp
  • Year 2 - Apply for Air Studies course
  • Year 3 - Apply for another Advanced Studies course
  • Year 4 - Apply for Gliding scholarship
  • Year 5 - Apply for Flying scholarship
  • Year 6 - Apply for Foreign Exchange program
Post Secondary Education Awards

There are several post-secondary educational scholarships available for air cadets through the Air Cadet League of Canada. Scholarship applications must be submitted by the deadlines as outlined at the following websites.

Rotary Club Scholarship

The Rotary Club has provided post-secondary educational scholarships available to graduating cadets who are members of the Aurora Air Cadet/Rotary Club Band. Interested cadets should speak with a member of the SSC Executive for application details.
